Welcome to the Crown Inn,
a 17th. century coaching inn, located in the centre of this popular
village, ideal for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. The Crown has a very
traditional ambience with a large assortment of brass and copper
curio's. We also have a vast collection of brass blow lamps - a joy to
look at, but a devil to clean. |

The pub has been extensively
redecorated and has all new curtains and upholstery. The "sports
room" hosts a pool table and various sporting memorabilia. We are
the main sponsors of Addingham F.C. first and second teams, whose team
photos you will find on the walls.
Dingham United 6-a-side are based here also and their trophies can be seen in the pool room. Hopefully they will add to their collection this season. We also host the Addingham Ladies rounders team – The Sin City Flyers – their nights are Tuesday and Thursday. In 2003 we were awarded a Certificate of Merit from the Yorkshire in Bloom committee - which is proudly displayed in the bar. We try to improve each year although the competition is fierce. All the baskets and tubs are planted and maintained by the land lady and she is open to all comments and suggestions! The new terrace has proved a great success and when the weather is fine is a great spot for people watching. |
